First, you have to know about something called overtraining. This is when you exercise so much that you don’t give your body the chance to fully recover. Second, you can face burnout pretty quick. If you are not in a program that changes workouts on the right schedule then you’ll find you get bored and even mad that results are not coming. Third, you open your body up more and more to injury. This really needs to be talked about separately even though it’s very close related to overtraining. When you keep breaking your body down, you find that the risk of joint injury of worse exponentially goes up. With the proper setup in your exercise routines, you should be exercising about three times a week for the main workouts. It’s more than possible to add more workouts if you want but only a certain type of workout so you don’t interfere with your bodies ability to fully recover.
